Iris Gallagher
Writing has been a passion for as long as I can remember. I still have poetry I wrote as an eight year old. I was born in Tennessee, grew up in Florida and lived most of my adult life in Colorado. I am back in Tennessee. I have traveled all over the United States and gone on several cruises, my favorite being to St. Lucia.
I have two grown daughters who are married to wonderful men. I have one granddaughter who is the light of my life and two grandsons who give me a run for my money but keep me laughing all the same.
I am currently retired, giving me time to focus on my writing. I hope someday to have completed a children's book of short stories, something my daughters have encouraged me to do since they were little.
I am an active retiree, kayaking and camping being two of my favorite things to do in my spare time.
